Department of Education is now developing an NDRI Investment Plan to deliver upon the Strategy's vision

Following the publication of the National Digital Research Infrastructure (NDRI) Strategy earlier this year, the Department of Education is now developing an NDRI Investment Plan to deliver upon the Strategy's vision where "user-centric design must lie at the heart of Australia's NDRI system". The Strategy also outlines six outcomes that embody what Australia's NDRI ecosystem should reflect to realise this vision.

Led by ACRI’s own Chair, Emeritus Professor Joe Shapter, an NDRI Working Group has now been established to support the development of the NDRI Investment Plan. The activities of the NDRI Working Group include a blend of open and targeted consultation on advancing the objectives of the NDRI Investment Plan, as briefly described on the Department of Education’s NDRI webpage.

ACRI encourages its members to complete the NDRI Investment Plan Consultation Survey. This survey consists of questions drawn directly from the series of targeted discussions hosted by the NDRI Working Group. The Department welcomes feedback from all NDRI experts, users and other stakeholders, including joint responses on behalf of organisations and groups.

preview of the survey has also been made available.

Please note, this survey will close on Thursday 24 October 2024 at 5:00pm AEDT.

Please feel free to contact us via email (researchinfrastructure@education.gov.au) should you have any questions relating to the survey or NDRI more broadly.
